Ingrid studied painting and photography at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington. After graduating with her BFA in Fine Art, she relocated to Yonago-shi Tottori, Japan where she continued her art practice. Ingrid finds her influence in nature and simplicity and takes much influence from ancient prints and paintings she discovered during her years in Japan. The grace of the peony. The sensuality of the poppy. The beauty of the wood grain. The stillness of time.
